| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Madeleine Lipetska is being recognized with the |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Created in 1989, the Women of Excellence awards |

| 9 | 10 | | honor individuals for their contributions as leaders and |

| 10 | 11 | | volunteers, highlighting the vital roles that women play in civic |

| 11 | 12 | | and professional endeavors in the Lubbock area; and |

| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, A student at Monterey High School, Ms. Lipetska has |

| 13 | 14 | | not only excelled in the classroom but also distinguished herself |

| 14 | 15 | | through numerous extracurricular activities and community service |

| 15 | 16 | | efforts; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, With her receipt of a Women of Excellence award, |

| 17 | 18 | | Madeleine Lipetska joins an elite group of women who have been |

| 18 | 19 | | honored by the YWCA of Lubbock, and she is indeed a worthy role |
