| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Rendon was selected from among the nearly 5,500 |

| 9 | 10 | | members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Edinburg RGV on January 14, and |

| 10 | 11 | | she advanced in the competition to be named the South Texas Youth of |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | the Year by STAC on February 4; she remains in the running for |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | state, regional, and national Youth of the Year honors; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Recognized for her exemplary leadership skills, |

| 14 | 15 | | scholastic accomplishments, and volunteer service, this |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | outstanding young Texan has been a member of the Boys & Girls Clubs |

| 16 | 17 | | for four years, giving freely of her time and energies to the |
