| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Established by the THA Rural Hospital Constituency |

| 9 | 10 | | Council, this prestigious accolade recognizes a hospital |

| 10 | 11 | | administrator or CEO who has demonstrated creative and innovative |

| 11 | 12 | | leadership in the community they serve; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Dianne Yeager began her career with Crane Memorial |

| 13 | 14 | | Hospital nearly three decades ago as a part-time nurse, and she |

| 14 | 15 | | served as director of nursing before becoming CEO; under her |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | skillful guidance, CMH has strengthened its finances and earned |

| 16 | 17 | | national recognition; and |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, In 2011, CMH received the Rural Hospital Outstanding |

| 18 | 19 | | HIT Partnership Award from the Texas Organization of Rural and |

| 19 | 20 | | Community Hospitals to acknowledge the facility's collaboration |

| 20 | 21 | | with other rural hospitals in implementing electronic health |

| 21 | 22 | | records; the next year, TORCH presented CMH with its Rural Hospital |

| 22 | 23 | | IT Award of Excellence, and for three consecutive years, the |

| 23 | 24 | | facility was ranked among the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals by |

| 24 | 25 | | the National Rural Hospital Association and was named the premier |

| 25 | 26 | | CAH for financial stability; moreover, in 2013, the TMF Health |

| 26 | 27 | | Quality Institute accorded CMH its Commitment to Quality in |

| 27 | 28 | | Excellence Award for its accomplishments in Medicare quality |

| 29 | 30 | | WHEREAS, Rural hospitals contribute immeasurably to the |

| 32 | 33 | | as CEO of Crane Memorial Hospital; now, therefore, be it |

| 33 | 34 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
