H.R. No. 621 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the untimely loss of Brian Joseph Studer of Frisco, who passed away on February 6, 2017, at the age of 44; and WHEREAS, Born on July 27, 1972, Brian Studer attended R. L. Turner High School in Carrollton and St. John's Northwestern Military Academy in Delafield, Wisconsin; raised in a family of aviation enthusiasts, he went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force; and WHEREAS, Brian Studer remained passionate about flying throughout his life, and he developed a special affinity for the QU-22, an aircraft flown by the 554th Reconnaissance "Vampires" Squadron during the Vietnam War; for years, Mr. Studer and his family were involved in organizing reunions for former members of the squadron, and he spent many hours researching and documenting the history of the QU-22; he was a maintenance operations manager and pilot at Tailwinds Aviation; and WHEREAS, Kind and thoughtful, Mr. Studer was always willing to help others when needed, and he was deeply committed to honoring his fellow veterans who had given so much for their nation; and WHEREAS, Although he will be greatly missed, Brian Studer left a profound impression on all those who were fortunate enough to know him, and he will forever hold a cherished place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Brian Joseph Studer and extend sincere condolences to his family and friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Brian Studer.
