| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, A delegation of 10th-grade students from the ROPP |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, ROPP, which stands for Rites of Passage Program, |

| 9 | 10 | | provides young women in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with Bible-based |

| 10 | 11 | | training and experiences; the program seeks to help students pass |

| 11 | 12 | | gracefully from childhood to adulthood by instilling in them high |

| 12 | 13 | | moral values, strong self-esteem, and a sense of altruism; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Starting in sixth grade, participants attend |

| 14 | 15 | | bimonthly classes, where they learn such life skills as financial |

| 15 | 16 | | management, decision making, cooking, sewing, etiquette, and fine |

| 16 | 17 | | arts appreciation; a highlight of the program is a trip to Ghana for |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, By teaching young women good values and the ability |
