R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Ursula Rachel Cedillo-Johnson of Prairie View is
graduating from Barnard College on May 17, 2017; and
WHEREAS, The daughter of Sylvia Cedillo and Darryl Johnson,
Ursula Cedillo-Johnson is an alumna of St. Stephen's Episcopal High
School in Austin, having graduated with honors in 2014; she has
since demonstrated exceptional dedication and ability while
working toward a bachelor's degree in anthropology at Barnard; and
WHEREAS, After completing her undergraduate studies,
Ms. Cedillo-Johnson plans to attend Columbia University, where she
will pursue a master's degree in oral history with a concentration
in film and film production; and
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan can indeed reflect with
pride on her academic achievements as she looks forward to a future
that is bright with promise; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Ursula Rachel Cedillo-Johnson on
her graduation from Barnard College and extend to her sincere best
wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Cedillo-Johnson as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
