45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Ursula Rachel Cedillo-Johnson of Prairie View is
67 graduating from Barnard College on May 17, 2017; and
78 WHEREAS, The daughter of Sylvia Cedillo and Darryl Johnson,
89 Ursula Cedillo-Johnson is an alumna of St. Stephen's Episcopal High
910 School in Austin, having graduated with honors in 2014; she has
1011 since demonstrated exceptional dedication and ability while
1112 working toward a bachelor's degree in anthropology at Barnard; and
1213 WHEREAS, After completing her undergraduate studies,
1314 Ms. Cedillo-Johnson plans to attend Columbia University, where she
1415 will pursue a master's degree in oral history with a concentration
1516 in film and film production; and
1617 WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan can indeed reflect with
1718 pride on her academic achievements as she looks forward to a future
1819 that is bright with promise; now, therefore, be it
1920 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
2021 Legislature hereby congratulate Ursula Rachel Cedillo-Johnson on
2122 her graduation from Barnard College and extend to her sincere best
2223 wishes for continued success; and, be it further
2324 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2425 prepared for Ms. Cedillo-Johnson as an expression of high regard by
2526 the Texas House of Representatives.
