R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Kelly Barnes and Paige Burton are exchanging the
vows of matrimony on August 12, 2017, in Frankfort, Kentucky, to the
great delight of their family and friends; and
WHEREAS, The happy couple currently reside in Austin;
Mr. Barnes, who attended Texas Christian University, serves as
chief of staff in the office of State Representative Travis Clardy;
an alumna of Centre College, Ms. Burton works as an account
executive for Lilly and Company; and
WHEREAS, The wedding of Kelly Barnes and Paige Burton marks
the profound deepening of a bond that has grown in love, respect,
and understanding with each passing day, and it is truly a pleasure
to congratulate them on their good fortune in finding one another;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby commemorate the wedding of Kelly Barnes and
Paige Burton and extend to them sincere best wishes for a lifetime
of happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
