| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The passing of Marguerite Caruthers of El Paso on |

| 6 | 7 | | February 15, 2017, at the age of 65, has brought great sadness to |

| 7 | 8 | | the family and many friends of this vibrant and gracious woman; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Marguerite Caruthers was born on March 25, 1951; an |

| 9 | 10 | | actress and a beloved member of the El Paso theater community, she |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | performed in dozens of productions for the El Paso Playhouse over |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | the past decade; along the way, her kindness, her sense of humor, |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | and her enthusiasm for life made an impression on everyone she |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | encountered; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Caruthers shared a rewarding marriage with her |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | husband, the late Jud Caruthers, and she was the devoted mother of |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | four children, Katherine, Brendan, Quinn, and Tessa; over the |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | years, she was further blessed with two grandchildren, Bijou and |

| 18 | 19 | | Zahir, and she enjoyed a close and caring relationship with David |

| 19 | 20 | | Yenshaw; in addition, her life was enriched by her love of animals, |

| 20 | 21 | | and she deeply cherished her family pets, Jack, Kiley, Kitty, and |

| 21 | 22 | | Hyde; and |

| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Although the loss of Marguerite Caruthers is keenly |

| 23 | 24 | | felt by countless people, they will forever treasure their memories |

| 24 | 25 | | of the laughter, warmth, and joy that she brought into their lives; |
