| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Lisa Loughney of Dallas is retiring from the Texas |

| 6 | 7 | | Comptroller of Public Accounts on March 31, 2017, bringing to a |

| 7 | 8 | | close an outstanding tenure with the agency that has spanned nearly |

| 8 | 9 | | three decades; and |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Loughney began her career in state government in |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | 1990 as an auditor in the Comptroller's Field Division in Houston, |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | and she transferred to the Dallas West Audit office six years later; |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | she became team leader in 2011 and earned a promotion to supervisor |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | later that year; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, In all her endeavors, Ms. Loughney has enjoyed the |

| 15 | 16 | | love and support of her family, which includes her husband, Tom, her |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | children, Lauren and Fred, her daughter-in-law, Karen, and her |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | grandson, Freddie; and |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Lisa Loughney's dedication, professionalism, and |

| 19 | 20 | | commitment to excellence have earned her the respect and admiration |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | of her colleagues, and she may indeed reflect with pride on a career |

| 21 | 22 | | well spent as she embarks on the next exciting chapter of her life; |
