| 8 | 9 | | received a free trip to Super Bowl LI in Houston from Good Morning |

| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Rhodes was nominated for the prize by more than |

| 11 | 12 | | 100 people after GMA set out to find a deserving coach who has had a |

| 12 | 13 | | profound impact on students; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Over the course of his career, Mr. Rhodes has |

| 14 | 15 | | coached more than 3,000 young athletes in nearly every sport |

| 15 | 16 | | offered by Childress High; today, he serves as head coach of the |

| 16 | 17 | | junior varsity football team and the boys' track team and as an |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | assistant coach for the varsity football team in addition to |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | teaching world geography; and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Coach Rhodes has earned the deep appreciation of the |

| 20 | 21 | | Childress High School community for his ability to help students |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | reach their full potential, and he is known for the special effort |

| 22 | 23 | | he makes to help them feel welcome and appreciated; and |

| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Through his exceptional ability to educate and |

| 24 | 25 | | inspire, Phillip Rhodes has made a positive difference in the lives |

| 25 | 26 | | of countless young people, and he is indeed deserving of this |
