| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Michael Knowles of Fort Worth is retiring from the |

| 7 | 8 | | 28, 2017, drawing to a close a decade and a half of exemplary |

|---|
| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, An alumnus of Bentley College, where he earned a |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | bachelor's degree with honors in accounting, Mr. Knowles began his |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | career with the state comptroller's office as an auditor in the |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Odessa field office; he subsequently worked for two years at the |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | revenue processing center in Euless before joining the Fort Worth |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | field office; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Retirement will afford Mr. Knowles more time to |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | spend with his beloved family, including his wife, Von, and their 4 |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | children and 10 grandchildren, and to indulge in his favorite |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | leisure activity, fishing; and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, This esteemed Texan's commitment to the highest |

| 20 | 21 | | standards of his profession has greatly benefited his fellow |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | citizens and earned him the respect and admiration of his |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | colleagues, and he may reflect with pride on a career well spent as |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | he embarks on the next exciting chapter of his life; now, therefore, |
