| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, More than 200 individuals came out to express their |

| 9 | 10 | | solidarity with Ms. DeSantiago at the Benefit for Brandie, which |

| 10 | 11 | | was organized to help offset the cost of her medical expenses and |

| 11 | 12 | | featured a lineup of notable Tejano bands and musicians; and |

| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Throughout her treatment, Ms. DeSantiago has drawn |

| 13 | 14 | | strength from the love and encouragement of her husband, Frank, and |

| 14 | 15 | | their three children, Garrett, Colton, and Justin; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, The outpouring of support Brandie DeSantiago has |

| 16 | 17 | | received is a testament to the special place she holds in her |

| 17 | 18 | | community, and her courage, grace, and optimism continue to inspire |
