45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Members of the Tyler County Country Church in
67 Woodville celebrated the grand opening of the church's new building
78 at a banquet on March 10, 2017; and
89 WHEREAS, This notable house of worship was originally
910 established as the Tyler County Cowboy Church in October 2013,
1011 under the leadership of pastor Jordan Wilson; since that time, the
1112 congregation has grown significantly and now consists of some 275
1213 members; and
1314 WHEREAS, The new 16,000-square-foot structure is the latest
1415 addition to the church's property, which features multiple
1516 buildings situated on 28 acres of land; the construction of the
1617 facility was made possible not only by the generosity of the
1718 church's congregants but also by contributions made from numerous
1819 area churches; the sanctuary hosted its inaugural service on March
1920 12; and
2021 WHEREAS, The Tyler County Country Church has served as a
2122 source of inspiration and guidance to many Woodville residents who
2223 seek a full and meaningful spiritual life, and it is a privilege to
2324 recognize the continuing commitment of this congregation to its
2425 faith and to the wider community; now, therefore, be it
2526 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
2627 Legislature hereby commemorate the grand opening of the new Tyler
2728 County Country Church building and extend to all those associated
2829 with the church sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it
2930 further
3031 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3132 prepared for the church as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3233 House of Representatives.
