| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Each year, CCU40 recognizes 40 men and women under |

| 9 | 10 | | the age of 40 who have worked to make a positive difference in the |

| 10 | 11 | | Corpus Christi area through both their professional and community |

| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, An alumnus of TAMU-CC, where he graduated with a |

| 13 | 14 | | bachelor's degree in finance and a master's degree in business |

| 14 | 15 | | administration, Sebastian Garzon currently works on the college's |

| 15 | 16 | | staff as a program manager for the Coastal Bend Business Innovation |

| 16 | 17 | | Center; in that position, he is responsible for counseling clients |

| 17 | 18 | | on business-related matters, helping companies obtain needed |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | resources, and overseeing budgets and other financial, facility |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | management, and marketing efforts; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Garzon has further distinguished himself as |

| 21 | 22 | | vice president of marketing for PorColombia National, the largest |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | network in North America of college students and professionals with |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | a Colombian background, and as a member of the board of the World |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | Affairs Council of South Texas, a champion of the United Corpus |

| 25 | 26 | | Christi Chamber of Commerce, and a member of Young Business |

| 26 | 27 | | Professionals of the Coastal Bend; and |

| 27 | 28 | | WHEREAS, Sebastian Garzon has set an outstanding example of |

| 29 | 30 | | justifiable pride in his contributions to the Coastal Bend |
