| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Each year, CCU40 recognizes 40 men and women under |

| 9 | 10 | | the age of 40 who have worked to make a positive difference in the |

| 10 | 11 | | Corpus Christi area through both their professional and community |

| 11 | 12 | | endeavors; and |

| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, A graduate of TAMU--CC's MBA program, Ms. Gomez |

| 13 | 14 | | currently works for the university's Coastal Bend Business |

| 14 | 15 | | Innovation Center; she previously served as a Port Corpus Christi |

| 15 | 16 | | business coordinator for Latin America, and she organized the first |

| 16 | 17 | | Latin American Petroleum and Energy Summit, which was attended by |

| 17 | 18 | | over 50 international companies; active in the community, she is |

| 18 | 19 | | involved with the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce, and |

| 19 | 20 | | she serves on the board for the World Affairs Council of South |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Rosana Gomez has set an outstanding example of |

| 23 | 24 | | justifiable pride in her contributions to the Coastal Bend |
