| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Toni Cheryl Nerren was one of five Texas A&M |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Each year, CCU40 recognizes 40 men and women under |

| 9 | 10 | | the age of 40 who have worked to make a positive difference in the |

| 10 | 11 | | Corpus Christi area through both their professional and community |

| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, A graduate of Texas A&M University--Corpus Christi, |

| 13 | 14 | | Ms. Nerren began working at the university in 2007 and presently |

| 14 | 15 | | serves as assistant director of human resources; in that role, she |

| 15 | 16 | | is responsible for staff compensation, performance management, and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | annual service awards, while also overseeing recruitment, |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | selection, and onboarding procedures; and |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Nerren is committed to the development of |

| 19 | 20 | | emerging leaders at TAMU--CC and is the advisor for the student |

| 20 | 21 | | chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management; highly |

| 21 | 22 | | respected by her professional peers, she holds the office of |

| 22 | 23 | | president for the Coastal Bend Society for Human Resource |

| 23 | 24 | | Management, and her department was recognized with the Most |

| 24 | 25 | | Effective Recruitment Strategy accolade at the society's 2016 HR |

| 26 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Toni Nerren has set an outstanding example of |
