117 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
128 SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 22, Transportation Code,
139 is amended by adding Section 22.091 to read as follows:
1410 Sec. 22.091. AIRPORT SECURITY VEHICLES. (a) In this
1511 section, "airport security vehicle" means a motor vehicle that:
1612 (1) is owned or leased by a joint board; and
1713 (2) has been designated or authorized by the joint
1814 board.
1915 (b) An airport security vehicle may be equipped with
2016 flashing blue and amber lights visible from directly in front of the
2117 center of the vehicle.
2218 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017.
