| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 411.121(c), Government Code, is | |
| 11 | 11 | repealed. | |
| 12 | 12 | SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies only | |
| 13 | 13 | to a request by the adjutant general to obtain criminal history | |
| 14 | 14 | record information on or after the effective date of this Act. A | |
| 15 | 15 | request for criminal history record information before the | |
| 16 | 16 | effective date of this Act is governed by the law in effect on the | |
| 17 | 17 | date the information was requested, and the former law is continued | |
| 18 | 18 | in effect for that purpose. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
