57 relating to the designation of a portion of Interstate Highway 35W
68 in Johnson County as the Deputy Clifton Taylor Memorial Highway.
79 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
810 SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code,
911 is amended by adding Section 225.123 to read as follows:
1012 Sec. 225.123. DEPUTY CLIFTON TAYLOR MEMORIAL HIGHWAY.
1113 (a) The portion of Interstate Highway 35W in Johnson County
1214 between its intersection with U.S. Highway 67 and East Hidden Creek
1315 Parkway is designated as the Deputy Clifton Taylor Memorial
1416 Highway.
1517 (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall:
1618 (1) design and construct markers indicating the
1719 designation as the Deputy Clifton Taylor Memorial Highway and any
1820 other appropriate information; and
1921 (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at
2022 appropriate intermediate sites along the highway.
2123 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017.
