| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 42.158(g), Education Code, is amended to | |
| 11 | 11 | read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (g) In this section: | |
| 13 | 13 | (1) "Instructional [, "instructional] facility" has | |
| 14 | 14 | the meaning assigned by Section 46.001. | |
| 15 | 15 | (2) "New instructional facility" includes: | |
| 16 | 16 | (A) a newly constructed instructional facility; | |
| 17 | 17 | (B) a renovated or repurposed facility operating | |
| 18 | 18 | for the first time as an instructional facility; and | |
| 19 | 19 | (C) a leased facility operating for the first | |
| 20 | 20 | time as an instructional facility. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
