The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to an expedited licensing process for certain physicians specializing in psychiatry. The bill would authorize the Texas Medical Board to set a fee for the expedited licensing process.Based on the analysis of the agency, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
