The bill would require the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to provide information to prospective adoptive parents regarding the right of a child's sibling to file a suit for access to the child.According to DFPS, any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
