1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 12
2	2	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
3	3	recognize Marvin R. "Randy" Billings, who is retiring from the
4	4	Office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts after nine years of
5	5	outstanding service; and
6	6	WHEREAS, Randy Billings has served the comptroller's
7	7	office with distinction as an appraiser in the Property Tax
8	8	Assistance Division; and
9	9	WHEREAS, Throughout his career in state service, he has
10	10	been noted for his superior organizational skills and property
11	11	tax expertise; and
12	12	WHEREAS, Talented and resourceful, he has handled his many
13	13	responsibilities with exceptional efficiency and dedication, and
14	14	his generosity and thoughtfulness have made him a truly valued
15	15	co-worker in his division; and
16	16	WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, he is respected and
17	17	admired by his colleagues, and his presence at the Office of the
18	18	Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly missed; now,
19	19	therefore, be it
20	20	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
21	21	Legislature, hereby commend Marvin R. Billings on his exceptional
22	22	service to the people of Texas as an employee of the Office of the
23	23	Comptroller of Public Accounts and extend to him best wishes for
24	24	continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further
25	25	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
26	26	him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
