| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Leadership Mid Valley is an exceptional program |

| 7 | 7 | | leadership skills and increase their knowledge of vital public |

| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Classes inspire a spirit of activism and provide |

| 10 | 10 | | networking opportunities and instruction from knowledgeable |

| 11 | 11 | | figures who encourage the participants to acquaint themselves |

| 12 | 12 | | with community needs and problems while evaluating possible |
|---|

| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, This year's Leadership Mid Valley class includes |

| 17 | 17 | | Vargas, Hollie Johnston, Maria Cisneros, Ivan Nordhausen, Omar |

| 18 | 18 | | Rodriguez, William Feeney, and Lupita Borrego; also in |

| 19 | 19 | | attendance are chaperones Laura Espinoza, Robert Donalson, |

| 20 | 20 | | Elizabeth Walker, and Andrew Munoz; and |

| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Working to foster a more informed and involved |

| 22 | 22 | | citizenry and to develop new leaders in South Texas, the |
