1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 236
2	2	WHEREAS, Klay Teegardin of Troop 142 in Harlingen has
3	3	recently been honored by the Boy Scout program for attaining the
4	4	rank of Eagle Scout, a rank achieved by only a small percentage of
5	5	boys in the program; and
6	6	WHEREAS, This fine young man displayed outstanding
7	7	leadership through the planning and execution of a service
8	8	project that has benefited his community; and
9	9	WHEREAS, Klay advanced through the ranks of Tenderfoot,
10	10	Second, First, Star, and Life classes before reaching the rank of
11	11	Eagle Scout by following the principles of the Scout oath and
12	12	promise; and
13	13	WHEREAS, By becoming an Eagle Scout, this personable young
14	14	man has brought great distinction to himself, his family, his
15	15	troop, his community, and his state; and
16	16	WHEREAS, Klay is an exceptional representative of the
17	17	State of Texas and a sterling example to all who have the good
18	18	fortune to know him; now, therefore, be it
19	19	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
20	20	Legislature, hereby commend Klay Teegardin on earning the rank of
21	21	Eagle Scout and congratulate him on his great achievement; and,
22	22	be it further
23	23	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
24	24	Eagle Scout Teegardin as an expression of high regard from the
25	25	Texas Senate.
