                    SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 259
 In Memory
 of
 Andy C. Esparza Jr.
 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
 commemorates the life of Andy C. Esparza Jr., who died December
 12, 2015, at the age of 72; and
 WHEREAS, Andy Esparza was born April 6, 1943, in Abilene,
 to Andy and Mary Esparza; a graduate of Cooper High School, he
 served the nation with distinction as a member of the United
 States Army; and
 WHEREAS, He worked professionally with Sears, Roebuck and
 Company and Moore Business Forms before establishing his own
 successful company, RAM Business Forms, in 1990; and
 WHEREAS, A devout Christian who practiced his faith in his
 daily life, he was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in
 Abilene; he was also active in a wide range of charitable
 organizations, notably the Ben Richey Boys Ranch; and
 WHEREAS, He was devoted to his beloved wife, Rosie, and his
 stepsons, daughters, and granddaughter were a source of much
 pride and joy; and
 WHEREAS, A man of courage, strength, and compassion, he
 gave unselfishly to others; his wise and generous spirit and his
 enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest will long be
 remembered by his family and his many friends; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
 Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
 family of Andy C. Esparza Jr.; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
 Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
 memory of Andy C. Esparza Jr.
