| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | commemorates the life of Andy C. Esparza Jr., who died December |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | 12, 2015, at the age of 72; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Andy Esparza was born April 6, 1943, in Abilene, |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | to Andy and Mary Esparza; a graduate of Cooper High School, he |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | served the nation with distinction as a member of the United |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | States Army; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, He worked professionally with Sears, Roebuck and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Company and Moore Business Forms before establishing his own |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | successful company, RAM Business Forms, in 1990; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, A devout Christian who practiced his faith in his |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | daily life, he was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Abilene; he was also active in a wide range of charitable |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | organizations, notably the Ben Richey Boys Ranch; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, He was devoted to his beloved wife, Rosie, and his |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | stepsons, daughters, and granddaughter were a source of much |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | pride and joy; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, A man of courage, strength, and compassion, he |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | gave unselfishly to others; his wise and generous spirit and his |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest will long be |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | remembered by his family and his many friends; now, |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | therefore, be it |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | family of Andy C. Esparza Jr.; and, be it further |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas |

| 32 | 32 | | Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in |
