| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Diane Lowrance for her 24 years of service with the |
|---|
| 4 | 4 | | Behavioral Health Center of Nueces County; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Diane Lowrance joined the staff of the behavioral |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | health center in 1992; she has contributed her talents in |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | numerous capacities over the years and has served as the |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | organization's chief executive officer since 2004; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, During her tenure, she has helped to shape the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | growth and progress of the center; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, In addition to her leadership at the behavioral |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | health center, she has served with several professional and civic |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | organizations, including the Texas Council of Community Centers |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | and the boards of directors of Charlie's Place Recovery Center |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | and the Rotary Club of Corpus Christi; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Diane Lowrance is truly a distinguished leader; she |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | is respected by professionals throughout the state, and her |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | wisdom, expertise, and commitment have made a difference in the |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | lives of countless individuals and families; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Legislature, hereby commend Diane Lowrance for her exemplary |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | leadership at the Behavioral Health Center of Nueces County and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | for her work on behalf of vulnerable citizens and extend to her |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | best wishes in all her future endeavors; and, be it further |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |

| 26 | 26 | | her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. |
