SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 284
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Roland P. Cochran on the occasion of his 50th
birthday; and
WHEREAS, Roland Cochran was born on February 26, 1967, in
Killeen; he is an exemplary citizen who is well known for his
outstanding problem-solving skills and his willingness to assist
others; and
WHEREAS, He is an expert metal fabricator, mechanic, and
all-around handyman; he has been a motorcycle enthusiast for more
than 35 years and an explorer of Texas state parks and back roads;
he is an accomplished and popular musician who has played for
many years in Austin; and
WHEREAS, This native Texan is beloved by his family and
friends and is truly deserving of special recognition for his
many talents; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
Legislature, hereby extend best wishes to Roland P. Cochran on
his 50th birthday; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
