| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, John Mio of Longview is retiring as operations |

| 3 | 3 | | manager from Stream-Flo USA in March 2017, drawing to a close a |

| 4 | 4 | | notable career that has spanned more than three and a half |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | decades; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Mio joined the Stream-Flo group of companies |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | in 1981, and over the years, he held a variety of assignments that |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | took him around the globe; in 2008, he relocated to Longview to |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | oversee United States-based manufacturing at Stream-Flo USA, and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | he has since played an instrumental role in increasing the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | plant's capacity and providing jobs for area Texans; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Retirement will undoubtedly afford Mr. Mio the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | opportunity to spend more quality time with his beloved family, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | including his wife, Marie, and their children and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, John Mio's skill, professionalism, and commitment |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | to excellence have made him an important asset to Stream-Flo USA, |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | and he may indeed reflect with pride on his many accomplishments |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | as he embarks on the next exciting chapter of his life; now, |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | therefore, be it |

| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Legislature, hereby congratulate John Mio on the occasion of his |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | retirement as operations manager from Stream-Flo USA and extend |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | to him warm best wishes for continued happiness and fulfillment; |
