| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, Will Pollard has recently been honored by the Boy |

| 3 | 3 | | Scout program for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout; and |

| 4 | 4 | | WHEREAS, Will planned, developed, and conducted a service |

| 5 | 5 | | project that has benefited his community, and he is recognized as |

| 6 | 6 | | an outstanding leader; and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, Will has brought great honor to himself in earning |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | the coveted Eagle Badge, and his family, his troop, his |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | community, and his state are justly proud of his great |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | accomplishment; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and |

| 12 | 12 | | promise, this personable young man advanced through the ranks of |

| 13 | 13 | | Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star, and Life classes before |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | reaching Eagle Scout; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Will has become one of the select few to have |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | earned this prestigious honor, and he is a shining example to the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | young people of Texas; now, therefore, be it |

| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |

| 19 | 19 | | Legislature, hereby congratulate Will Pollard on becoming an |

| 20 | 20 | | Eagle Scout and commend him on this great achievement; and, |
