| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | meaningful accomplishments remain to comfort the family and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | friends of Weston Gray Frost, who passed away on February 22, |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | 2017, at the age of 55; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A native Texan, Gray Frost was born in El Paso on |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | June 19, 1961, to Retha Jean Wilcoxson and Young Jack Frost, and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | he graduated from Deming High School in 1979; he subsequently |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | served for four years in the United States Air Force, where he |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | earned the rank of staff sergeant; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Frost enjoyed a notable 30-year career at |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Siemens Energy in Orlando, Florida, and during that time he was |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | granted a United States patent for an invention that facilitated |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | more efficient power generation; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, In his leisure time, this avid outdoorsman |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | enjoyed hiking, wind sailing, and cross-country and mountain |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | motorcycling; dedicated to his faith, he was a valued member of |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | First Redeemer Church, and he gave back to his community by |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | volunteering with a foundation building computers for the |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | underprivileged; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Although he will be deeply missed, Gray Frost's |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | kindness, optimism, and strength of character will continue to |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | inspire all those who were privileged to share in the richness of |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | his life; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the memory of Weston Gray |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | Frost and extend heartfelt sympathy to the members of his family: |

| 31 | 31 | | to his mother, Retha Wilcoxson; to his siblings, Jacque |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | Frost-Marvit, Crystal Frost-Pedregon and her husband, Eddie, |

| 33 | 33 | | Carrie Wilcoxson, and Glen Wilcoxson; and to his many other |
