4	4	Bernadette Richardson
5	5	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
6	6	commemorates the life of Bernadette Richardson, who died
7	7	February 9, 2017; and
8	8	WHEREAS, Bernadette Richardson was an exemplary citizen
9	9	whose generous and loving spirit had a profound impact on those
10	10	who were privileged to share in her life; and
11	11	WHEREAS, A graduate of Porter High School, Bernadette
12	12	attended The University of Texas at Brownsville; she enjoyed a
13	13	fulfilling career as a master hairstylist and hair colorist; and
14	14	WHEREAS, She was affectionate and loyal to her large and
15	15	loving extended family, and she devoted much of her time and
16	16	energy to encouraging and supporting the creative endeavors of
17	17	her nieces; and
18	18	WHEREAS, A woman of courage, grace, and warmth, she gave
19	19	selflessly to others, and her generosity, her creative spirit,
20	20	and her enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest will not be
21	21	forgotten by her family and countless friends; now, therefore,
22	22	be it
23	23	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
24	24	Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
25	25	family of Bernadette Richardson; and, be it further
26	26	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
27	27	her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
28	28	Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
29	29	memory of Bernadette Richardson.
