| 4 | 4 | | Comptroller of Public Accounts on March 31, 2017, after 13 years |

| 5 | 5 | | and six months of loyal service; and |

| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Linda Mitchell is a tax compliance officer in the |

| 7 | 7 | | Houston Northwest Enforcement Field Office, where she is known |

| 8 | 8 | | for her superior organizational skills and tax code expertise; and |

| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A talented and resourceful individual, she has |

| 10 | 10 | | handled her many responsibilities with exceptional efficiency |

| 11 | 11 | | and dedication; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Linda is an exemplary employee who is respected |

| 13 | 13 | | and admired by her colleagues, and her presence at the Houston |

| 14 | 14 | | Northwest Enforcement Field Office will be greatly missed; now, |

| 16 | 16 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |

| 17 | 17 | | Legislature, hereby commend Linda Mitchell on her outstanding |

| 19 | 19 | | her many contributions to the state and extend to her sincere |
