| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Ray Young, who has been named the recipient of a Frist |

| 4 | 4 | | Humanitarian Award for his work at Saint David's Georgetown |

| 5 | 5 | | Hospital; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, This prestigious honor is named for Dr. Thomas F. |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | Frist, founder of the Hospital Corporation of America, and it is |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | the highest honor presented annually to volunteers, employees, |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | and physicians of hospitals affiliated with the company; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Ray Young has been a volunteer greeter at the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | hospital since 1999, when he began as one of the nine original |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | greeters; over the course of his 18 years with the hospital, he |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | has provided more than 5,200 hours of service; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, His ready smile and helpful attitude have set a |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | cheerful and reassuring tone for people coming to the hospital, |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | and it is truly fitting that he receive special recognition at |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | this time; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Legislature, hereby commend Ray Young on his exceptional service to |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Saint David's Georgetown Hospital and extend congratulations to him |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | on receiving a Frist Humanitarian Award; and, be it further |

| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
