1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 517
2	2	WHEREAS, When they married many years ago, Don and Cathy
3	3	Truxillo made a lifetime commitment to each other, and their
4	4	mutual trust has been amply rewarded, for they celebrated their
5	5	60th wedding anniversary on January 5, 2017; and
6	6	WHEREAS, Much of the world has changed in the years of
7	7	their marriage, yet Don and Cathy continue to cherish the
8	8	traditional values that helped inspire their bond long ago; and
9	9	WHEREAS, Over the years, they have grown stronger in their
10	10	love and devotion as together they have experienced the joys and
11	11	sorrows of everyday living; and
12	12	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Truxillo have been blessed with a
13	13	wonderful family; their children, grandchildren, and
14	14	great-grandchildren are a source of great pride and joy; and
15	15	WHEREAS, To celebrate their anniversary, Mr. and Mrs.
16	16	Truxillo gathered with their family for a special dinner; the
17	17	love they share is truly an inspiration to all who know them; now,
18	18	therefore, be it
19	19	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
20	20	Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to Mr. and Mrs.
21	21	Truxillo on their 60th wedding anniversary; and, be it further
22	22	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
23	23	them as a memento of this special day.
