1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 533
2	2	WHEREAS, When they married many years ago, Ron and Mary Lee
3	3	Hull placed great faith and trust in one another, and they have
4	4	been amply rewarded, as they recently celebrated their 50th
5	5	wedding anniversary; and
6	6	WHEREAS, Ron and Mary Lee were married February 18, 1967,
7	7	in Roswell, New Mexico; they met one another at the wedding of
8	8	Mary Lee's sister, and they married 18 months later; and
9	9	WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably during the
10	10	years of their marriage, yet Mr. and Mrs. Hull have continued to
11	11	cherish traditional family values; and
12	12	WHEREAS, In 1974, the couple moved to Dallas, where they
13	13	raised their seven children, Lesley, Elaine, Melissa, Megan,
14	14	Matt, Andrew, and Nathan; their grandchildren, Amelie, Henry,
15	15	Audrey, Penelope, Niko, Theo, and Harper, have been a source of
16	16	much pride and joy; and
17	17	WHEREAS, Through the years, Ron and Mary Lee have grown
18	18	stronger in their love and devotion as together they have
19	19	experienced the joys and sorrows of everyday life; the long and
20	20	happy union of Mr. and Mrs. Hull is truly an inspiration to
21	21	others; now, therefore, be it
22	22	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
23	23	Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to Ron and Mary Lee
24	24	Hull on their 50th wedding anniversary; and, be it further
25	25	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
26	26	this distinguished couple as an expression of esteem from the
27	27	Texas Senate.
