                    SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 577
 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
 recognize Dianna Schuster, who is retiring from the Office of the
 Comptroller of Public Accounts on April 12, 2017, after 26 years
 of exemplary state service; and
 WHEREAS, Dianna began her career with the State of Texas on
 February 1, 1991, as an administrative technician in the
 Technical Assistance section of the State Property Tax Board; the
 agency was transferred to the comptroller's office in September
 of 1991, and she later took on the role of accounts examiner for
 the Data Security and Analysis Team; and
 WHEREAS, In her time as an accounts examiner, Dianna has
 been responsible for reviewing reports of property value for
 schools, cities, and counties and for evaluating tax data for
 land assets under the Permanent University Fund; she has also
 performed duties in audit and open records coordination for the
 Property Tax Assistance Division; and
 WHEREAS, A talented and resourceful individual, Dianna has
 handled her many responsibilities with exceptional efficiency
 and dedication and was known for supporting her co-workers; she
 is beloved by her colleagues, and her presence at the Office of
 the Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly missed; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
 Legislature, hereby commend Dianna Schuster for her
 outstanding service to the public and her many contributions
 to the state and extend to her best wishes in all her future
 endeavors; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
