| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Dianna Schuster, who is retiring from the Office of the |
|---|
| 4 | 4 | | Comptroller of Public Accounts on April 12, 2017, after 26 years |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | of exemplary state service; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Dianna began her career with the State of Texas on |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | February 1, 1991, as an administrative technician in the |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | Technical Assistance section of the State Property Tax Board; the |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | agency was transferred to the comptroller's office in September |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | of 1991, and she later took on the role of accounts examiner for |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | the Data Security and Analysis Team; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, In her time as an accounts examiner, Dianna has |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | been responsible for reviewing reports of property value for |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | schools, cities, and counties and for evaluating tax data for |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | land assets under the Permanent University Fund; she has also |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | performed duties in audit and open records coordination for the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Property Tax Assistance Division; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, A talented and resourceful individual, Dianna has |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | handled her many responsibilities with exceptional efficiency |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | and dedication and was known for supporting her co-workers; she |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | is beloved by her colleagues, and her presence at the Office of |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | the Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly missed; now, |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | therefore, be it |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Legislature, hereby commend Dianna Schuster for her |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | outstanding service to the public and her many contributions |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | to the state and extend to her best wishes in all her future |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | endeavors; and, be it further |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |

| 30 | 30 | | her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. |
