1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 641
2	2	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
3	3	recognize Kayline Ballard Cabe, who is retiring from the Office
4	4	of the Comptroller of Public Accounts on April 30, 2017, after
5	5	nine years of distinguished service; and
6	6	WHEREAS, Kayline began her property tax and appraisal
7	7	career when she joined the State Property Tax Board in 1980;
8	8	after two years of service, she went on to work for the Capitol
9	9	Appraisal Group for 15 years, and she later earned her
10	10	residential appraiser's certification with the state and worked
11	11	as an independent appraiser; and
12	12	WHEREAS, Kayline joined the comptroller's office in May of
13	13	2008 as a field appraiser in the Property Tax Assistance Division,
14	14	and her expertise has been integral to the ongoing success of her
15	15	department; and
16	16	WHEREAS, A talented and resourceful individual, Kayline is
17	17	respected and admired by her colleagues, and her presence with
18	18	the Office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly
19	19	missed; now, therefore, be it
20	20	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
21	21	Legislature, hereby commend Kayline Ballard Cabe on her outstanding
22	22	career and her many contributions to the state and extend to her
23	23	best wishes in all her future endeavors; and, be it further
24	24	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her
25	25	as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
