1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 650
2	2	WHEREAS, When they married many years ago, Margo and Edward
3	3	Whitmore placed great faith and trust in one another, and they
4	4	have been amply rewarded, as they recently celebrated their 50th
5	5	wedding anniversary; and
6	6	WHEREAS, Margo Ann Rye and Edward Paul Whitmore married on
7	7	March 24, 1967; the world has changed considerably during the
8	8	years of their marriage, yet they have continued to cherish the
9	9	values that brought them together long ago; and
10	10	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Whitmore are blessed with a
11	11	wonderful family; their three children, Paul, Chris, and
12	12	Melissa, and their six grandchildren, Brooke, Haley, Gracie,
13	13	Liam, Oliver, and Jackson, have been a source of much pride and
14	14	joy; and
15	15	WHEREAS, Over the years, Margo and Ed have grown stronger
16	16	in their love and devotion as together they have experienced the
17	17	joys and sorrows of everyday living; the long and happy union of
18	18	Mr. and Mrs. Whitmore is truly an inspiration to others; now,
19	19	therefore, be it
20	20	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
21	21	Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to Margo and
22	22	Edward Whitmore on their 50th wedding anniversary; and, be it further
23	23	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
24	24	this distinguished couple as a memento of this milestone in
25	25	their lives.
