| 8 | 8 | | record of 21 wins, 5 losses, and 2 ties; after a strong showing in |

| 9 | 9 | | regular season play, the team carried its momentum into the |

| 10 | 10 | | playoffs, besting Mineola, Texarkana, Pleasant Grove, and |

| 11 | 11 | | Palestine High Schools in the opening rounds; a 6-2 triumph over |

| 12 | 12 | | Dallas A+ Academy took Kilgore to the regional finals, where the |

| 13 | 13 | | squad defeated Carrollton Ranchview to earn a third consecutive |

| 14 | 14 | | berth in the state tournament; and |

| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Following a dominant 4-0 shutout over Booker T. |

| 16 | 16 | | Washington High School in the semifinal round, the Bulldogs faced |

| 18 | 18 | | Kilgore took an early lead in the hard-fought title match, the |

| 21 | 21 | | forcing a penalty-kick shootout in which the Bulldogs outscored |

| 22 | 22 | | Bridgeport four goals to two, securing a 3-2 victory and the |
