| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, Lucas Earl Lane served the Texas Senate as an |

| 3 | 3 | | Honorary Page on May 1, 2017; and |

| 4 | 4 | | WHEREAS, A seventh grader at Fowler Middle School in the |

| 5 | 5 | | Frisco Independent School District, Mr. Lane demonstrated great |

| 6 | 6 | | skill and diligence while assisting in the daily activities of |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | the Senate; in so doing, he had the opportunity to learn more |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | about the legislative process as well as the history of the State |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Capitol; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, In addition to dedicating himself to his studies, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Mr. Lane is involved in a number of extracurricular activities, |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | including football and band; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, By taking part in a legislative session, this |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | outstanding young Texan has gained valuable experience and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | contributed to the important operations of the state Senate, and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | he is indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Legislature, hereby commend Lucas Earl Lane on his service as an |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Honorary Page and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |

| 21 | 21 | | success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |

| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
