| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |

| 3 | 3 | | mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Tom and Pat Bingham |

| 4 | 4 | | of Quitman celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on |

| 5 | 5 | | April 27, 2017; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Bingham were joined in matrimony on |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | that memorable day in 1957 in Tyler; over the years, they have |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | been blessed with a treasured family that includes their |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | children, Dirk Bingham and his wife, Marcy, and Lisa Brockelman, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | as well as their grandchildren, Trevor and Lexie Fuller and Jarod |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | and Jacob Bingham; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, the couple |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | are both alumni of Kilgore High School; Mr. Bingham continued his |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | education at Kilgore College, graduating with the Class of 1955, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | and he went on to work at Shell Oil Company; Mrs. Bingham retired |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | from a rewarding career with the Quitman Independent School |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | District; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, This devoted husband and wife have enjoyed six |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | decades of abiding love and affection for each other, and they |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | are among an exceptional group of people who can claim such a |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | lasting commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Legislature, hereby congratulate Tom and Pat Bingham on their |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the |
