| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and |

| 6 | 6 | | commemorates the life of Rebecca Molina, who died April 8, 2017, |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | at the age of 73; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Rebecca Molina was an exemplary citizen who was |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | widely respected and admired in the Edinburg community for her |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | many achievements; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, A graduate of The University of Texas--Pan |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | American, Mrs. Molina was a longtime educator and curriculum |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | assistant with the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | District; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, She and her beloved husband, Reynaldo Molina Sr., |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | raised five children together, Lillian, Manuel, Reynaldo Jr., |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Victoria, and Richard; they were blessed with 18 grandchildren |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | and 20 great-grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, A woman of courage, grace, and compassion, she |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | gave unselfishly to others, and her strength, her wisdom, and her |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | generous spirit will not be forgotten by those who were |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | privileged to share in her life; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Rebecca Molina was a devoted wife, mother, and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | grandmother, and she leaves behind memories that will be treasured |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | forever by her family and many friends; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | family of Rebecca Molina; and, be it further |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in |
