11 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 821
22 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
33 recognize Shayan Zahrooni of Austin on the occasion of his
44 graduation from the Texas School for the Deaf; and
55 WHEREAS, Shayan's graduation is the culmination of
66 diligent study in a curriculum designed to challenge him and
77 broaden his knowledge; he is celebrating this milestone in
88 commencement exercises on June 1, 2017; and
99 WHEREAS, Shayan can take pride in having earned his diploma
1010 from the Texas School for the Deaf; the school is respected in
1111 academic circles in Texas, as well as nationally, for its quality
1212 of instruction and dedication to excellence in teaching; and
1313 WHEREAS, A talented and hardworking student, Shayan has
1414 enjoyed participating in numerous extracurricular activities
1515 since he enrolled in the school his 10th-grade year; he worked in
1616 the campus business office during his senior year in order to
1717 gain employment skills for the future; and
1818 WHEREAS, Shayan can face the future with confidence that
1919 his proven abilities, learning skills, and acquired knowledge
2020 will hold him in good stead for whatever vocation he chooses;
2121 now, therefore, be it
2222 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
2323 Legislature, hereby congratulate Shayan Zahrooni on his
2424 graduation from the Texas School for the Deaf and extend to him
2525 best wishes for the future; and, be it further
2626 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
2727 him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
