| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Robert Hollas, who was recently honored as the Texas |

| 4 | 4 | | Child Protective Services Caseworker of the Year for Region 6; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Robert Hollas has been a caseworker for Child |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | Protective Services in Milam County for more than 24 years; he is |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | highly respected by his colleagues, and he is admired by many for |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | his unwavering dedication to the children of his community; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Hollas excels as an investigator and as an |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | interviewer; he has received training on effective interviewing |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | techniques, and his intuition and attention to detail help him |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | gain insight into situations that are often not what they seem on |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | initial impression; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Hollas is known for his expertise both in the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | field and in the courtroom; judges note his professionalism in |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | matters relating to the court, and juries are grateful for his |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | thoughtful and in-depth courtroom testimony; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, A respected member of the community, Mr. Hollas has |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | diligently worked to ensure the safety and security of young |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | citizens; he has made a difference in the lives of countless |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | children, and he can indeed take pride in his many accomplishments; |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Legislature, hereby commend Robert Hollas for his exemplary work |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | on behalf of the vulnerable children of Milam County and |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | congratulate him on being named the Region 6 Child Protective |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Services Caseworker of the Year; and, be it further |

| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
