56 BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
67 Legislature, Regular Session, 2017, That Senate Rule 12.03 be
78 suspended in part as provided by Senate Rule 12.08 to enable the
8- conference committee appointed to resolve the differences on
9- Senate Bill 2244 (the creation of the University Hills Municipal
10- Management District; providing authority to issue bonds;
11- providing authority to impose assessments or fees) to consider
12- and take action on the following matter:
13- Senate Rule 12.03(2) is suspended to permit the committee
14- to omit text not in disagreement in SECTION 1 of the bill by
15- omitting added Section 3947.255, Special District Local Laws
16- Code. The omitted text would exempt the University Hills
17- Municipal Management District from the application of Section
18- 375.262, Local Government Code, which provides for the
19- dissolution of a district on petition of certain owners of
20- property in the district.
21- Explanation: The omission of the text is necessary to
22- require the board of the University Hills Municipal Management
23- District to dissolve the district on petition of certain owners
24- of property in the district.
