56 BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
67 Legislature, Regular Session, 2017, That Senate Rule 12.03 be
78 suspended in part as provided by Senate Rule 12.08 to enable the
8- conference committee appointed to resolve the differences on
9- Senate Bill 533 (state agency contracting and procurement) to
10- consider and take action on the following matter:
11- Senate Rule 12.03(2) is suspended to permit the committee
12- to omit text not in disagreement by omitting SECTION 13(a)(2) of
13- the senate engrossment of Senate Bill 533 and the corresponding
14- section of the bill as the bill was amended by the house,
15- proposing transition language requiring the comptroller to
16- modify the contract management guide as required by Section
17- 2262.051(i), Government Code, as that section is purportedly
18- added by Senate Bill 533.
